OVERVIEW


ENERWAVE ZW15R Z-Wave Outlet replaces standard wall receptacle and enables your wireless control to home as very important component of home automation. Same as other Z-Wave dimmers, sensors and switches, ZW15R outlet must be connected/paired wirelessly into the home automation system gateway/hub, such as SmartThings, Vera, VeraEdge,SmartThings Gateway, Mi Casa Verde Vera3 or other z-wave certified hubs.

The pairing is easy, and once done, it will be connected forever unless you change your hub. After that, you don't have to worry about forgetting to unplug devices after power charging, or forgetting to turn off the fan, floor light, TV, portable air-condition, heater, speaker, music player and electric wok. YOU CAN TURN THEM OFF REMOTELY from anywhere on any brand smart phone, tablet, ipad or desktop computer. Replacing standard wall receptacle with z-wave outlet ZW15R helps cut down energy bill and improve safety. It is not only simply an ON/OFF control, but you can add them to a customized scene/event group and control it together with other devices in the same scene group for great convenience and smart control of your home event and schedule.

One outlet is z-wave controlled outlet with programmable functions of managing ON/OFF by scenes, association and schedule event. The other outlet is always-on for flexibility to charge your devices.     • One thing to be aware of is that "ZWave Plus" devices might not work with the Wink Hub (1st version), though they should work with the Wink Hub 2.

    • My testing is done on the Wink Hub 2.
    • I try to find out if devices reported by others are Hub 1 or Hub 2, but I'm not always able to find out.
  4. I am a beta tester.
    • This means my hub might work with a device that won't work for the general public.
    • I try to avoid adding article for devices that are only compatible with the Wink beta firmware, but sometimes, something slips through.
    • If I report that it works, but it does not work for you, chances are it will start working for you in the near future.
